SoWo is launching at the OWL bootcamps this summer. If you're registered for the West Coast Bootcamp in Seattle (June 22–26, 2026) or the East Coast Bootcamp in Burlington, MA (August 3–7, 2026), you're part of a small first cohort getting 90 days of SoWo free and lifetime founding pricing locked in.
Here's what that means in practical terms.
What the offer covers
If you join SoWo at a 2026 OWL bootcamp, you get:
- Your first 90 days of SoWo free — full access to the app, no credit card needed.
- Lifetime founding pricing — after the 90 days, your subscription continues at $10 per month. That rate stays locked for as long as your subscription is active, even when public pricing moves up.
- A direct line to the SoWo team — Darcy, Matt, and Wes are all reachable. Bug reports, feature requests, classroom stories — we want all of it.
- Early access to new features — you'll see Discover, Design, Deliver, Practice, Apply, and Measure ship as we build them. You shape what gets prioritized.
- SoWo embedded in your bootcamp practice — we're not running a booth in the back. SoWo runs alongside the bootcamp curriculum all week.
How SoWo will show up at the bootcamps
The plan for Seattle and Burlington is the same: you'll use SoWo during the bootcamp itself, not after. We're embedding it so you can experience the app in real OWL practice contexts.
Specifically, expect to see SoWo in the student demo session, during strand sessions when you're planning prompt sequences and running circle activities, and in a dedicated workshop where you can bring your own classroom plans and try SoWo on them. Each day ends with reflection prompts in the app and a structured feedback card. Improvements ship overnight where possible.
By the time you leave, you'll have used SoWo with peers in the practice room — not just seen a demo of it.
What to bring
A laptop or tablet. Your usual classroom plans — the more real, the better. An honest read on what would or wouldn't work for your students. We'll handle the setup.
How to register for the bootcamp itself
The bootcamps are OWL events, and you register through OWL directly. SoWo is OWL's digital partner, not the host of the bootcamp. Head to owlanguage.com/events for registration details, schedule, and venue information.

Why this offer, and why only at bootcamps
SoWo is being co-created with OWL-trained teachers. The bootcamps are where we get the most concentrated time with you in real teaching contexts, which is the only honest way to build a teacher-first platform. The 90-days-free offer is our way of investing in the cohort that's investing in shaping what SoWo becomes.
